PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent the consumption of an electrode and excessive removal machining for a workpiece by providing an unmachined region avoidance connection path generating means generating a new connection path which avoids an unmachined path when a connection path travels on an unmachined region. ;SOLUTION: An unmachined region judging part judges whether a connection path interferes with an unmachined region or not. In the newly generated connection path Rn, a tool electrode 8 keeps a fixed electric discharge gap G without moving in the direction of Z-axis and turns around a pond-shaped part horizontally.
