PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emotion recognizing device for recognizing a state of the emotion of a user by short-time monitoring of a physiological signal (biosignal) of the user.;SOLUTION: This emotion recognizing device is equipped with: a characteristic analyzing part for analyzing the characteristics of the biosignal which is acquired from the user; a subtraction part for determining a difference between the result in the analysis in the characteristic analyzing part and a characteristic value serving as a standard for recognizing the emotion of the user; and an emotion classifying means for classifying a plurality of the emotions by respective categories by analyzing a differential value determined by the substraction part and for recognizing the emotion with the greatest strength among the classified emotions as the state of the emotion of the user.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
