Magnetic recording reproducing arrangement and its head change timing adjustment manner

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To form a recording track with accurate timing in a magnetic recording/reproducing device in which the regulation of the track recording position is very strict. ;SOLUTION: Data to be recorded on a magnetic tape 4 are read out from a frame memory 1 taking a head changeover signal as a reference. The timing of the head changeover signal is produced based on phase data of head changeover signal stored in an EEPROM 11. The phase data of head changeover signal are adjusted beforehand so that time differences between an SSA detecting phase reproduced from the magnetic tape and the rise/fall of the head changeover signal become a target value.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
