PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a protocol analyzer, a trigger detector, a recording medium with a trigger detection program recorded therein and a board that can set more complicated trigger detection conditions so as to detect a trigger at high- speed.;SOLUTION: A trigger detector 20 consists of an application execution section 21 that executes a program for trigger detection and a trigger detection execution board 23 that is connected to the application execution section 21 via a host interface 22. The application execution section 21 consists of a personal computer or the like to set a trigger detection condition for trigger detection, informs the trigger detection execution board 23 about an instruction of a user and informs the user about the execution result of the trigger detection execution board 23. Furthermore, the trigger detection execution board 23 conducts compile processing of the trigger condition set by the application execution section 21 and processing such as network monitor, trigger detection and capturing of a specific frame on the basis of an instruction from the application execution section 21.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
