Portable sealed container and its internal atmosphere adjusting device

PURPOSE: To enable a hermetically sealed vessel to be easily controlled in inner atmosphere by a method wherein inner atmosphere component control material where desirable specific components are previously adsorbed is provided to the content of a case main body. ;CONSTITUTION: When a container main body 10 is placed on the pad of a main case 60, a cam located inside a base lid 20 is engaged with a cam shaft of an elevating pad 65. Then, an automatic lock mechanism 64 is actuated to fix the container main body 10 to the upside of the pad. Thereafter, a cam shaft drive mechanism built in the elevating pad 65 is actuated to make the base lid 20 separable from the container main body 10. Then, a drive mechanism 66 is actuated to enable the elevating pad 65 to descend by a prescribed distance. By this setup, the inner atmospheres of the container main body 10 and the main case 60 are mixed together. Molecular sieves 80 such as zeolite serving as inner atmosphere component control material are high in adsorbing properties to moisture, so that they discharge nitrogen gas adsorbing moisture contained in the mixed atmosphere gas.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
