It is an object of the present invention to provide a method for identifying the second human prostaglandin D2 receptor subtype other than the DP receptor and to identify the substance which acts on this receptor subtype useful for treatment and prevention of various diseases. In order to solve this problem, an identification method for identifying the properties of the substance to human prostaglandin D receptor by associating the action of the substance on the human prostaglandin D receptor and the action of the same substance on human CRTH2 .
