PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a high-performance vacuum heat insulation material wherein heat insulation performance is improved not less than 20% compared to the case of powder non-addition by clearing a heat insulation improvement factor appearing in the case of addition of an additive to a base material and selecting the proper base material and the additive according to the theory, to provide a manufacturing method for the vacuum heat insulation material, to provide equipment with the high-performance vacuum heat insulation material capable of contributing to the energy saving, and to provide equipment with the high-performance vacuum heat insulation material not imparting discomfort caused by transmission of heat inside the equipment up to a surface to a user. SOLUTION: In this vacuum heat insulation material, fumed silica 5 of an average primary particle diameter of 7 nm and carbon black 4 of a powder specific resistance of 0.6 cm/ are evenly dispersed in a covering material 2 having a metal foil layer and a thermoplastic polymer layer.
