Cylinder temperature and nozzle temperature setting method of injection molding machine

PURPOSE: To provide a cylinder (nozzle) temp. setting method capable of performing molding work by faithfully reproducing the temp. distribution of a cylinder (nozzle) obtained by conditioning even when molding work is performed by an injection molding machine different from an injection molding machine wherein the number of the heat sources arranged to the cylinder (nozzle) or the arranging positions thereof is used by conditioning. ;CONSTITUTION: The temp. distribution waveform f(h) of a cylinder (nozzle) at the time of the molding of a good product is calculated on the basis of the relation between the temps. T0 (T01-T0r)-Tn of the cylinder (nozzle) detected by thermocouples G0-Gn and the arranging positions h0 (h01-h0r)-hn of the respective thermocouples to be preliminarily stored in a floppy disk. When molding is performed by other injection molding machine, the cylinder (nozzle) temp. Ti' of each of the heat source parts of the cylinder (nozzle) of the injection molding machine is calculated from the arranging positions hi' of the heat sources of the injection molding machine and the waveform f(h) at the time of the molding of the good product to be set as the temp. control objective value of each of the heat source parts to reproduce the temp. distribution of the cylinder (nozzle) obtained by conditioning.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
