PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flooded-double tube evaporator capable of suppressing the carry-over of a refrigerant solution by refrigerant vapor while reducing the size of an equipment configuration.;SOLUTION: In this inner and outer double tube formed of an outer tube 13 and an inner tube 14 and having a tube axial direction positioned horizontally, a refrigerant liquid chamber 16 is formed to flow the refrigerant solution between the outer tube 13 and the inner tube 14 and a cooling medium chamber 17 is formed to flow cooled medium through the inside of the inner tube 14. The inner tube 14 is formed so that the lateral widths of the side parts 16A and 16B of the refrigerant liquid chamber 16 formed on both right and left sides of the inner tube 14 can be differentiated from each other in a cross sectional view along the tube axial direction. A partition body 15 for partitioning the inside of the side part 16A or 16B of the refrigerant liquid chamber 16 with a wider lateral width into an outer tube portion and an inner tube portion in the lateral direction is installed in the evaporator.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
