Floating stretcher null for marine injured person rescue

PURPOSE: To prevent a stretcher from being inclined in a vertical direction to be overturned by weight of an injured person by providing a means to selectively fix a panel in an attitude positioned above a plane to which a frame belongs, and in an attitude included in the plane to which the frame belongs. ;CONSTITUTION: A panel 2 is pivotally supported at a front part of a frame 1, and it is provided with a fixing means 25 for selectively fixing the panel 2 in an attitude inclined to a plane to which the frame 1 belongs and positioned above the frame 1, and in an attitude included in the plane to which the frame 1 belongs. When the panel 2 has the attitude inclined to the frame 1 on water, the frame 1 acts as a keel like a bottom load extended from a bow to a stern. Autonomic direct under torque thus acts even when an injured person of a heavy weight is loaded, thereby this stretcher is prevented from overturning sideways by mistake.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1996,JPO
