PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an estimating method and an estimating device for the flow rate fluctuation of materials to be crushed in which the flow rate fluctua tion in a crushing route generated by a factor, artificial or inartificial, is esti mated quickly and the accurate operation can be performed even by an unskilled person in a crushing system, based on the staged flour milling process. ;SOLUTION: When a crushing process using one set of crushers and screens is set as a unit process, a flow rate distribution matrix forming the matrix utilizing the flow rate for flowing out materials to be crushed formed in compliance with respective classification stages of screens in respective processes as elements is provided, and respective elements of the matrix are computed by a given computation formula based on crushing conditions to estimate the flow rate of the materials to be crushed flowing out of respective processes in a crushing system.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
