PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely analyze human action by automatically detecting the point under consideration of a person under an environment in which the position/direction of the person is arbitrarily changed.;SOLUTION: Which region in a space can be observed by each line of sight detecting device is preliminarily stored in an observable region storing part 2, and the layout of space to be monitored and the position of an article to be investigated for judging whether or not the article is noticed by a person are written in a space map storing part 3, and the space to be monitored is divided according to the size of the observable range of the line of sight detecting device 1 so that all the lines of sight to each article to be investigated can be observed even when the person stands at any position and in any direction, and the plural line of sight detecting devices are arranged as necessary by removing any dead angle so that the lines of sight can be detected even when the person stands in any direction in each region.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2001,JPO
