PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a V-belt type drive unit capable of anticipating the breakage of a V-belt by detecting the foretoken of the breakage of the V-belt without removing a cover and a manned four wheel rough terrain running while provided with the V-belt type drive unit.;SOLUTION: In a V-belt type transmission (V-belt type drive unit) 1 provided with a drive pulley 10 connected to a drive source, a driven pulley 20 connected to a driven object, and a V-belt B to connect the drive pulley 10 and the driven pulley 20 in interlocking relation, a belt breakage sensor 3 for detecting the physical deformation of the V-belt B attendant upon the deterioration of the V-belt B and an alarm lamp 5 and a buzzer 6 to report the result detected by the belt breakage sensor 3 are also provided.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2002,JPO
