PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To record an image of good quality by reducing an error between plates at every color to the utmost. ;SOLUTION: When a transparent thermal recording film 6 recording image data is fed, the downstream part of the transparent thermal recording film 6 pressed by the recording part of an image recording part 3 and a platen roller 33 is pressed by a film drive roller having fine projections scattered thereon and a press roller to prevent the slip of the transparent thermal recording film 6. The image recording part 3 imparts the rotary torque of the backup roller 34 being in contact with the platen roller 33 under pressure by a disc brake 35 and constant tension is applied to the transparent thermal recording film 6 between the image recording part 33 and the film drive roller to prevent that an error is generated in the sending length of the transparent thermal recording film and the shift of the recording position of the transparent thermal recording film 6 is prevented.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
