PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide the destination selection type address resolution method where closed communication is especially conducted among many specified communication terminal equipments. ;SOLUTION: In the case that a discrimination value by an address resolution device NHS 2 is '1', the communication is made between terminal equipments in a same closed area communication group or at the outside of a closed area communication group and the address resolution is allowed. When the discrimination value by the address resolution device NHS 2 is '2', since the transmitter side terminal equipment belongs to the closed area communication group, the address resolution is allowed by rewriting a transmission address in an address resolution request packet is rewritten into an address of the address section device so long as the address resolution is allowed, and the address resolution request packet is transferred to the other address resolution device. When the discrimination value by the address resolution device NHS 2 is '3', since the transmitter side terminal equipment belongs to the closed area communication group, the address of the address resolution device is replied so long as the address resolution is allowed. When the discrimination value by the address resolution device NHS 2 is '4', since the communication between the terminal equipments is not allowed, the address resolution is not allowed and the communication between the terminal equipments is disable.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1998,JPO
