PURPOSE:To reduce the scale and cost of a driving simulator by retracting a seat backward at a prescribed speed by means of a cylinder by calculating the impact of clash against an obstacle. CONSTITUTION:An impact control computer which receives the signal from a computer for the driving simulator in case where a simulation car driven by a driver 1 causes a collision accident generates an impact signal meeting the condition of the collision of this time and a pneumatic control section opens and closes a solenoid valve for air pressure to supply the compressed air generated from an air pressure generating section, thereby driving a pneumatic cylinder 3 and moving the seat 2 backward. The reaction that the driver 1 presses the brake with the foot acts on the force to pull the seat 2 backward so that the seat 2 is moved by small driving power. The seat 2 is returned forward and the impact as if a large collision arises is applied to the driver 1 when the foot of the driver 1 pressing the brake extends and the force is relieved by the backward movement of the seat 2 at a prescribed distance. Further, the force of the foot hardly exists and the seat 2 is returnable by a small force at the time of returning the seat 2 forward.
