PURPOSE: To establish a reproducible method of manufacturing space structure assembled aperiodically in sextuple form according to the symmetric property of a regular dodecahedron, using only a single straight member. ;CONSTITUTION: Regular pentagons twisted by 18° to the right or left in unity are described into all regular pentagonal faces of a regular dodecahedron, and the division of Penrose lattice is infinitely performed to the regular pentagons. A straight member is passed through the vertexes of the described regular pentagons in such a way as to be vertical to the respective faces of the regular dodecahedron.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1994,JPO
