PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide resonator by which the desired resonance frequency and the capacitance of a coaxial-type dielectric body resonator with high precision is obtained and which can be converted into the compact one with the wide range of capacitance permitting a partial electrode to be provided with a projecting part where an end part is formed on the same surface of a release surface at a release surface side. ;SOLUTION: The partial electrode is provided with the projecting part 7a where the end part is formed on the same surface of the release surface 6 at the release surface side. This resonator is adjusted by cutting the release surface side by planar grinding in order to permit the resonance frequency and partial electrode capacitance to be required constant numbers. In this case, a resonance frequency is adjusted by resonator length. That is, resonator length is shortened by planarly grinding the release surface 6. At this time, the frequency is shifted to the higher one. At the same time, the area of the partial electrode 7 is reduced by grinding the release surface 6 but the area change of the paratial electrode 7 is small since only the projecting part 7a of the partial electrode 7 is removed.
