OUTER WALL STRUCTURE FOR EXTENDED OR ALTERED BUILDING

PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an outer wall structure for an extended or altered building, which is free from generation of stress at a structure, such as an outer wall board, of each of an existing building and the extended or altered building even if the behaviors of the existing building and the extended or altered building are different from each other at the time of occurring of an earthquake or traffic vibrations, to thereby prevent deformation at the existing building and the extended or altered building, and damage including cracks in the outer wall board. ;SOLUTION: According to the outer wall structure for the extended or altered building, the existing building has a cover board extended from the outer wall thereof toward the extended or altered building along a joint portion between the outer walls of the buildings, in a manner being in parallel with the surface of the outer wall of the extended or altered building and covering the entire height of the joint portion. Further, the outer wall board of the extended or altered building is extended outside the cover board, and the cover board and the outer wall board of the extended or altered building are rendered slidable on each other along the surface of the outer wall of the extended or altered building.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
