PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a swash plate type fluid pump/motor equipped with a slide type thrust plate, capable of avoiding occurrence of a blemish caused by bite of dust into a slide surface of the thrust plate to improve durability of a piston action force support member between a piston including the thrust plate and a swash plate. ;SOLUTION: This swash plate type fluid pump/motor is so structured that the piston can be reciprocated by relative rotation between the swash plate and the piston fitted into a cylinder in a manner capable of reciprocating. The fluid pump/motor is provided with the slide type thrust plate characterized by comprising: the thrust plate mounted to the swash plate relatively movably in a direction along the surface of the swash plate; a slipper brought into spherical contact with one end of the piston and slidably brought into contact with the surface of the thrust plate.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
