PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an opening and closing mechanism of a threshing chamber in a thresher, equipped with a stopper for preventing lowering in opening and closing a threshing chamber and enabling operation of a release lever for releasing a stopper for preventing lowering in a state which an operation arm is gripped. ;SOLUTION: In a thresher, a threshing chamber 10 is formed of a movable frame body 26 and a fixed frame body 24 vertically arranged and the movable frame body 26 is constituted so as to be openable round a rotating rocking lever shaft 28 by operation of an operating arm 30. The opening and closing mechanism of the threshing chamber 10 has a lowering-preventing stopper 32 pivoted on the movable frame body 26 and preventing lowering of the movable frame body 26, a stopper pin 36 provided in the fixed frame body 24 and capable of engaging with the lowering-preventing stopper 32, a stopper-releasing lever 38 provided in the neighborhood of the operating arm 30 and a wire 46 for connecting the stopper releasing lever 38 to the lowering preventing stopper 32 and engagement between the lowering-preventing stopper 32 and the stopper pin 36 is released through the wire 46 by operation of the stopper release lever 38.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1997,JPO
