PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method and a system for room layout plan acquisition and a recording medium which enable a recipient to easily obtain a proper room layout plan. ;SOLUTION: A plurality of room layout plans are previously stored as a room layout plan database 20 together with feature data including evaluation points and condition section for inputting or selecting conditions for a room layout are displayed on a terminal 100 which is connected through a communication network; and room layout plans whose feature data match with or are similar to conditions inputted or selected through the condition section are read out of the room layout plan database 29 and displayed in a selectable state on the terminal 100 together with evaluation points, so that a desired room layout plan is selected out of the room layout plans displayed on the terminal 100 and obtained.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
