PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a network damage insurance system and a call charge damage insurance system for allowing a user to use at ease a communication. network including a telephone communication network. ;SOLUTION: When an unjust act takes place including theft, interpolation, and destruction of data on a network due to unjust intrusion into a user network connected to a communication network used by many unspecified persons via a fire wall, damage owing to the unjust act is compensated by this network damage insurance system. This system is structured to have a database for registering therein identification information on the users and insurance fee as data on the user network, an unjust act receiving means for receiving the identification information on the users having suffered the unjust act together with information showing data having suffered the unjust act, and an insurance amount determining means for determining the amount of insurance payable to the user based on the insurance fee.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
