PURPOSE: To provide a fluid stream distributor plate set having a pattern flexibility for melt spinning of a synthetic fiber, a method for melt spinning using the set and a method for assembling the plate. ;CONSTITUTION: This fluid stream distributor plate set is used for spinning synthetic fibers from a single or plural liquid synthetic resin streams as a constituting element of a spinning pack having a spinning nozzle. The set has at least one pattern forming plate 13 or 15 and at least one boundary forming plate 14 which is water-tightly piled adjacently to the pattern forming plate. The former has at least one distributing pattern flow passage 24 holed through and the latter has a part forming at least one through hole 26 or 27 and a non-perforated solid part coating the pattern flow passage. By suitably exchanging the plates having various pattern flow passages, a liquid synthetic resin is extruded from a spinning nozzle 30 through these plate packs to form filament yarns having various cross sections.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1995,JPO
