PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To unnecessitate a complicated takeout mechanism provided for releasing the holding of a cartridge by moving an optical disk cartridge by engaging it with a cartridge holder and releasing the state utilizing the reaction by abutting the cartridge on a fixing pin. ;SOLUTION: A cartridge holder 5 is rotated, a fixing pin is passed along a relief groove formed in a latch part 51 and depressing force is exerted only on an optical disk cartridge 4. The optical disk cartridge 4 abutted on the fixing pin is not continued to rotate integrally with the cartridge holder 5 and released from engagement with the latch part 51. At this time, the optical disk cartridge 4 is slid on the inner wall of the latch part 51 and becomes a state that it is slipped out of the cartridge holder 5 by a fixed amount.;COPYRIGHT: (C)1999,JPO
