PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a system for eliminating a first danger (leakage/illegitimate use of information) and a second danger (missing/disabled reproduction) caused by missing/theft of ubiquitous terminals. ;SOLUTION: This invention provides the information recovery system at missing of an ubiquitous terminal wherein when information stored in ubiquitous terminals 40 to 44 is entered or updated, the ubiquitous terminals 40 to 44 automatically transmit a difference of the information and particular information of the ubiquitous terminals to an ASP (application service provider) computer 3 through a communication channel, when receiving the information, the ASP computer updates the stored information as to the ubiquitous terminals, stores the updated information to a server file as newest information, when a possessor of the ubiquitous terminal makes a request and the ASP computer receives particular information of a new ubiquitous terminal, the system applies authentication procedure to the possessor, and the ASP computer transmits the newest information of the ubiquitous terminal stored in the server file to the new ubiquitous terminal.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
