PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a track pad attached remote control transmitter providing an excellent sense of operation when a track pad is operated while supporting the remote in one hand, a remote control subsystem employing the remote control transmitter, a remote control system, a remote controller, and remote control method. ;SOLUTION: A position contacted on the track pad 311 of the remote control transmitter 120 is detected as coordinate information, and a coordinate conversion section 315 applies coordinate conversion to the detected coordinate information according to the principle of operations of a thumb in operation to the detected coordinate information and uses the result for remote control information.;COPYRIGHT: (C)2004,JPO
