The image processing apparatus includes a thumbnail image data generating device generating thumbnail image data of a first page of the job. An electronic mail transmitting device is included in the image processing apparatus to transmit an electronic mail having a thumbnail image data of the first page to a mail address of the user when the job is completed or interrupted in the digital copier.
