Is a method of Energy Recovery for Water Treatment in the Recovery of Heavy Oil. Method and apparatus are described for the treatment of produced water in Heavy Oil Thermal Recovery Unit to achieve levels of Water Recovery and Recycling increased to 80% to 100% to reach Zero Discharge criteria.The Method includes the first step of capturing residual Heat Energy from a high pressure Steam separator located downstream of the Steam Generators.Additionally, includes the steps of transferring Heat Energy to a separator and rehervidor heater Exchanger to Distill in the Oil Field produced water and Recover distilled Water and a Solid product or concentrated Brine.The Concentrated Steam separator is heated through the Heat exchanger rehervidor to maintain a mass of vapor in the range between 1% and about 50% in the flow back to the heated separator and prevent fouling and scaling. An additional embodiment unifies the methodology of anti fouling for SAGD type Heavy Oil Recovery.In another implementation, a Crystallizer is added to the circuit to obtain additional benefits.
