Different values of frequency Reuse are associated with different channels, e.g. different types of channels in a Cellular Communications System. For a shared Channel downlink Signal, Reuse can be greater than one to achieve higher Data speeds.Moreover, the frequent Reuse can be set to one for other types of Channel, e.g. dedicated channels including dedicated channels with Signal of signal of Ascent and Descent. Alternatively the Reuse Frequency can be larger than one for the channels in addition to the shared channel to downlink Signal, e.g.One or more channels with Signal decrease, while a Frequency reuse of one is deployed for one or more dedicated channels with Signal Rise.The use of different values of frequency Reuse reduces interference between cells, particularly the cell edges, while maintaining the existing schemes of soft handover for dedicated channels if one or more of the channels is a type of multiple access channel by D Division code (CDMA)
