The invention relates to a method and means for the prevention and treatment of apoplexy in trees, caused by frosts, root-worms, bacteria and others. The method comprises smearing of the stem two or three times a year with the Physoentorima preparation and once a year winter spraying of the whole trees with its dilute solution. Physoentorima is a preparation containing small-quantities of insecticides and fungicides, dissolved in heavy oil (naphtha), and oil paint being used as an adhesive. More effective end results are achieved by means of the said method and means, using much less operations, in all cases of apoplexy, thus preventing its origination. 3 claims
