The present invention relates to a compact reinforced concrete beam (1) with longitudinally variable structural height of cross section T or I. It means that the bottom face (3) of the beam (1) is totally four times broken and namely once in each supporting region (2) and twice in one fourth to one third of the beam (1) structural length (L). In the supporting region (5), the beam (1) wall width (SS) varies up to optionally full width (S) of the beam and this change of the beam width is made continuously by a haunch (6). The height (VP) of the beam in the supporting region ranges within one fourth to one third of the beam height (VN) in the middle of span thereof. The main reinforcement (7) of the beam follows up the shape of the beam (1) bottom face (3).
