The invented wall panel consists of a sheet metal trough-shaped element and heat-insulating filler. Said sheet metal trough-shaped element includes a flat sheet metal portion (1) for forming back surface of a fa ade and side walls (2, 3) extending from said flat sheet metal portion (1), whereby a deflected flange (4, 4') protrudes from free end of at least one side wall (2, 3). An insulating board (5) of mineral wool is inserted in the sheet metal trough-shaped element between the sidewalls (2, 3) thereof, wherein said insulating board thickness is greater than the width of the sidewalls (2, 3). The insulating board (5) is fastened in the metal trough-shaped by means of a sidewall (3) flange (4) that is in a knife-like engagement forced into the insulating board wall in close contact with the heat insulating material, substantially without removal of the insulating board material in the area of the flange (4) penetration. In a panel assembly for a building cladding comprising the aforementioned building elements as internal structural and insulating elements, elements (6) of outer cladding layer are attached to the building elements from outside of the cladding at spots of the flanges (4, 4'), whereby sections of the corresponding insulating board (5) lie between the elements (6) of the outer cladding layer and the flanges (4, 4'). Claimed is also a screw for a panel assembly and an insulating board for insertion into a sheet metal trough-shaped element.
