Inspection of quality of wind turbine blade including a blade shell of fiber-reinforced polymer and areas to which fluid or viscous curable polymeric compound has been supplied, involves exposing wind turbine blade to heat or cold, measuring temperature variations over an area of turbine blade surface, and determining parts of an area with insufficient presence of polymer. The temperature differs from parts of an area containing polymer. An Independent claim is also included for an apparatus for carrying out the above method comprising a holder provided with a contact face and mounted such that the contact face may support the outer surface of the wind turbine blade, and temperature meters for detecting the temperature variations over the outer surface of the wind turbine blade.
