The system is for coupling together superimposed cases or boxes and has a lock frame (3) in two gables placed uppermost in a gable recess and a snap lock (4) placed lowermost on the gables. The lock frame is spring loaded so that it neither remains witheld inside the recess nor outside of it. Alternatively, in the base of the recess a crossways spring is placed, which is placed in a bush, so that it remains possible to free the lock frame automatically where it is retained in the recess. - In a further alternative, it is possible to use a spring-loaded movable pin, which moves from the outside of the case into a hole in the lock frame, in which case there is a spring between the base of the recess and the holding flange of the lock frame, which means that the lock frame, by activation of the spring, is released from the recess.
