The present invention depicts a system and method to report when a gas tank reaches a predetermined level. The system uses a float with magnetic coupling that actuates an electronic circuit that transmits the identification number to a central monitoring system. The system allows the suppliers among other things to prevent lack of gas to costumers improve safety and avoid the filling of half-filled tanks increasing efficiency of the supplying fleet and improving the customers° satisfaction. The system reports when the gas tank reaches a predetermined level and it can be installed over the float with conventional magnetic coupling. The system does not require of supplemental electric installation because it mechanically censes and it is only actuated the electricity source to make electronic calls.
