The freight vehicle (1,2,3), refuse vehicle or trailer has a chassis (7) on which is mounted a load (9) space (8) and an axis assembly (5) on which wheels (4) are fitted, a spring system (6) between the chassis and the axle assembly and weighing devices. With the weighing devices, information is obtained relating to at least one weight parameter, such as at least the weight of the load in the load space. The weighing devices have a measurement unit connected with the chassis and the load space for measuring the height of the chassis. The measurement unit has a transmission between the chassis and the axles matching a height to be recorded of the chassis at a measurement area of a meter in the measurement unit.
