The connection comprises an essentially H-shaped casing with the ends of its two arms (5, 6) designed to be secured to the faces (3, 4) of adjacent floating bodies using bolts (8a, 8b, 9a, 9b), so that the cross-piece (7) in the H extends essentially at right angles to these faces. The cross-piece is cut in the middle in order to form two opposing buffers (7a, 7b). A cable (14, 15) extends between a bolt at the end of one arm and an opposing bolt at the adjacent end of the other arm, the cables being longer than the cross-piece and buffers. The casing comprises a flexible material and the cables extend through it.
