Tensioning devices are used to tension the roof panels (6) in a direction essentially parallel to the peaks (21) and troughs (22) in the panels. The roof (1) has at least one ridge (7) and transparent panels slant downwards from either side of the ridge towards gutters (5). The panels have a corrugated or zig-zag-shaped profile with parallel peaks and troughs extending in a transverse direction relative to the ridge and gutter.
