The heat distribution installation involves fluid feed (12) for the supply of heated fluid to a central heating system (3,4) heating at least one room, and has at one heat exchanger (9) for heating tap water. All the fluid fed to the installation flows through the heat exchanger. The distribution system (1) incorporates a feed-in pipe (17) and a feed-out pipe (18) which are connected to a feed conduit (3) and a return conduit (4) of the central heating system. To these latter conduits one or more radiators in the room are connected. The feed-out pipe is connected to a pump (6). At least a primary part of the heat exchanger is so adjusted that principally all the fluid fed via the main feed at least flows through the heat exchanger. The heat exchanger is installed downstream of the central heating system.
