The weir installation (1) comprises a weir assembly (2), trough-shaped, and is made of rustproof steel plates, i.e. a baseplate (5), side plates (4) and an end plate (18), on top of which a grid (20) is placed. On the left-hand side, the assembly is open to form a through passage (6) and at the opposite end the assembly is provided with a pipe-shaped through passage (7) which extends outwards from a corresponding hole in the end wall. The through passage can be alternatively both pipe-shaped or both open. In the assembly a sluice wall (6) is positioned, which extends from one side wall to the other and with its lower edge (9) rests on the baseplate. The lower edge is provided with a flap (11), for sealing against the base wall.
