The flexible coupling for two transmission shafts has two steel or aluminum variable-size identical shaft hubs each containing eight cavities and accommodating a circular polyurethane toothed element made replaceable without disassembly. The polyurethane excludes vibration and tolerates a degree of axial and radial misalignment of the shafts.
