The invention relates to a method and an installation for irradiating with photonic ionizing radiations in pulsed electric field, used in extremity and parietal tumor radiotherapy, the method consisting in applying a pulsed electric field, simultaneously with the irradiating with ionizing radiations, onto the targeted tumoral volume (3), the electric field characteristics being adjusted depending on the impedance and conductance characteristics of the irradiated tissue volume. According to the invention, the installation for irradiating in electric field comprises a pulsed electric field generator (G), a data aquisition block (13) which takes over the signals corresponding to the impedance and conductance characteristics of the irradiated tissue and trasmits them to an adjusting block (17), which, on one hand, controls the electric field generator (G) and, on the other hand, a electric discharge preventing block (19) which by being connected to the generator (G) automatically prevents the electric discharges in the irradiated tissue.
