A method of assessing seeds for disease resistance includes soaking seeds, sowing in a growing chamber to check the infection occurrence. The seeds are presoaked in the water in the course of 0.5 hour, placed to Petri dishes on 4 day pathogen culture, which is grown on an agarized nutrient substrate, and they are exposed to such condition in the course of 40 hours at a temperature of 20 DEGREE C. The surface disinfection of the seeds is carried out and they are germinated in growing chambers. On the 4th day of the germination the degree of infection is determined by the presence of aerial mycelium of the pathogen.
