The method for the surgical treatment of the rotatory nystagmus provides for isolating the appropriate muscle, applying the non-resorptive suture and attaching the muscle to the sclera. The inferior oblique muscle is separated and the non-resorptive suture is applied onto its frontal part. The suture attaches the anterior part of the inferior oblique muscle to the sclera near inferior rectus muscle.
