METHOD OF REDUCING THE DURATION OF THE FARROW PERIOD IN SOWS

A method of reducing the duration of the farrow period in sows includes using micronutrients in the ration of sows. As an additive, an aqueous solution of potassium iodide is added into concentrated feeds on the basis of 0.07 cm3 of the solution per 1 kg of live weight of a sow daily from the moment of coupling thereof and up to the time of naturalfarrow.
