METHOD FOR SYNTHESIZING A PHASE-ONLY SYNTHETIC HOLOGRAM

The present invention can be used in optical devices, specifically in coherent and holographic optics devices. The proposed method for synthesizing a phase-only synthetic hologram implies using a digital amplitude filter that is realized by computer software. As a result, the accuracy in determining the phase function in the plane of the phase-onlysynthetic hologram can be increased, and the quality of the restored image can be improved due to the significant reduction of the intensity of interferences in the image.
