A method for putting inside a glass bottle of a decorative component, the size of which is greater than the size of the bottle neck consists in that the glass bottle is divided into two parts, and the decorative component is embedded in one of them, then the parts are connected between them. The device for separation of the glass bottle into parts contains housing, internal surface of which corresponds to the shape of the bottle, heating and cooling elements are mounted inside the housing at a specific height with the possibility of contact with the bottle surface. The cooling element is located in the upper part of the housing above the heating element. The lower part of the housing is equipped with a limiter for setting the bottle at a specific height for contact of the surface of the bottle separation with the heating element.
