摘要

The proposed method of compensating the main and higher harmonics of reactive current, which are induced by switching of thyristors in the circuit of a controlled converter, consists in connecting capacitors in parallel to the circuits with thyristors and differs in that each capacitor is connected, by an electronic switch, only within a defined part of the period of the main current harmonic. The length of the connection interval and the instant of connection relative to the start of the period of the main current harmonic are dependent on the commutation delay angle of the thyristor and the parameters of the converter load.
