A method for the manufacture of biological fertilizer involves stepped biological treatment of sludge residue of public drains and mixing thereof with organic dresser. As organic dresser fallen leaves, solid or chopped with particles size preferably in the range of 525 mm or chopped branches with and without leaves are introduced to the sludge or residues at their natural humidity, stockpiled in clamps or pressed in trenches and subjected to biological maturing in an anaerobic mode up to obtaining the finished product.
